Description
These two Camargue stallions are young and are having a “play-fight” to learn about how the pecking order is established.
Neither of them was hurt and no blood was drawn.
A series of images taken over a period of about an hour showed how small their teeth are, but how substantial their muscles are already.
Much energy was expended but the worst that happened was a lot of mud.
The Camargue horses are a very ancient breed well adapted to coping with the salt water and marshy environment in which they live.
